The City of Rome offers three adult softball leagues throughout the spring and summer month; Men’s, Women’s, and Co-ed. All leagues are governed and conducted by separate volunteer advisory boards.

All league play is hosted at Haselton-Wright Park, which is a regional park located at 200 Riverview Parkway North. League play generally begins during the first week of May and ends with playoff tournaments in August. Game start times are generally 6:00 p.m., 7:15 p.m., and 8:30 p.m.

Men’s League Play: Sunday Nights
Women’s League Play: Wednesday Nights
Co-ed League Play: Tuesday Nights

Haselton-Wright Park Features:

  • Two lighted softball fields that share a common outfield
  • Public restrooms
  • A medium-sized playground
  • A paved walking trail around the exterior of the softball fields with dog waste receptacles available
  • Large parking lot with room for approximately 100 vehicles

Rome Women’s Adult Softball League

The Rome’s Women’s League plays on Wednesday Nights at Haselton-Wright Park located at 200 Riverview Parkway North. Game times are generally 6:00 p.m., 7:15 p.m., and 8:30 p.m. The 12-team league is conducted by a league president and volunteer advisory board.

Rome Adult Co-ed Softball League

The Rome’s Co-ed League plays on Tuesday Nights at Haselton-Wright Park located at 200 Riverview Parkway North and Steven’s Field located at 740 W. Court Street. Game times are generally 6:00 p.m., 7:15 p.m., and 8:30 p.m. The 14-team league is conducted by a league president and a volunteer advisory board.

Rome Men’s Adult Softball League

The Rome’s Men’s League plays on Sunday Nights at Haselton-Wright Park located at 200 Riverview Parkway North. Game times are generally 6:00 p.m., 7:15 p.m., and 8:30 p.m. Each league night can host a maximum of 12-teams and is conducted by a league president and volunteer advisory board.
